
Task:
Protect the rod end against corrosion and particles that cause wear the sensitive bearing surface which eventually will lead to bearing play. If there is a lack of space, the spacers can be excluded. Then you have to make sure that any side nuts are screwed against the rubber with caution.
Material:
Neoprene bellow. Stainless spacers.
Installation:
The protective bellow must pulled over the rod ends’ head. Lubricate the head for easier installation. Can be installed with lock ring pliers or other self-made tools. The best, however, is our specially developed installation tool for RERS
Lubrication:
For permanent lubrication, fill the gap between the rod end and the bellow with fat. Note, however, that maintenance-free rod ends should not be lubricated.
