Protect the rod end against corrosion and particles that cause wear the sensitive bearing surface which eventually will lead to bearing play. If there is a lack of space, the spacers can be excluded. Then you have to make sure that any side nuts are screwed against the rubber with caution.
Neoprene bellow. Stainless spacers.
The protective bellow must pulled over the rod ends’ head. Lubricate the head for easier installation. Can be installed with lock ring pliers or other self-made tools. The best, however, is our specially developed installation tool for RERS
For permanent lubrication, fill the gap between the rod end and the bellow with fat. Note, however, that maintenance-free rod ends should not be lubricated.
1 pc RERS 1/DR 8 is a complete kit for 8 mm rod ends (2 pcs spacers with bellow).
