Outgoing model
Type S, bushing in precision design is a shaft joint manufactured with high technology and sophistication machining. Available in single and double versions (45 or 90 degree working angle). It is made of several components of different materials to be able to be assembled in constructions with high dynamic and static torsional loads have a high abrasion resistance and clear vibrations to a greater extent than usual shaft bearing of standard steel. Type S has a minimal backlash. In the most exposed areas of the carbon joint, they are manufactured with a special nickel chrome alloy and hardened till HRC60. A common method, such as with our type G, uses “normal steel” as hardened. Thank you construction without weakening pins and pins is this version very suitable for high shock loads. The choice of material also means that this type S does not need to be lubricated like “usual” shaft bearing such as type G. In normal use, there is no need to use a grease-filled rubber bellows either. Type S is supplied lubricated and has a longer service life with regular relubrication. Disadvantage with this type S can be that even the ends are hard all the way, unlike for example ours type G. Which means that the axle hole cannot be enlarged or the hole/gänga can be reworked. These interventions can be done at the factory before hardening if desired.
