The RODOGRIP locking nut allows for secure slip-free locking on a threaded shaft. Requires no wedge groove or processing of the threaded shaft. The lock nut is secured by tightening the 3 locking screws. The tightening means that 3 radial brass pins are pressed against the shaft thread without damaging it. The axial load is handeled by the threaded flanks of the nut. The pin and thread are processed in the same operation, leaving a maximum gap of 2 µm between the lock nut and shaft.
