Rubber/metal bushing
Rubber/metal bushings are suitable for use with link arms and the like where there are moderate loads and angular movements. They can also be used as pure damping elements to absorb vibrations or shocks intended for vehicle suspensions, articulated arms and all kinds of mechanical link systems, allowing oscillating movements through the deformation of the rubber in shear. Suitable as a replacement for ball bearings where small movements are required.
Flanged rubber/metal bushing
This has a high radial and axial stiffness and is therefore well suited to control horizontal movement. These are relatively stiff dampers for loads up to 1100 kg. Ideal for high frequency vibrations. Can be advantageously used together with upper and lower washers to achieve a “fail-safe” installation, which means that inner and outer tubes cannot loosen overload.
Spherical rubber/metal bushing
This has a high radial and axial stiffness and is therefore well suited to control horizontal movement. These are relatively stiff dampers for loads up to 1100 kg. Ideal for high frequency vibrations. Can be advantageously used together with upper and lower washers to achieve a “fail-safe” installation, which means that inner and outer tubes cannot loosen overload.
Eccentric rubber/metal bushing
A very durable, flexible storage. These have a large rubber section with the center hole offset in the radial direction. These bushings offer relatively large radial deflection and have excellent motion control characteristics.
